Considering DSG or automatic gearbox software? We check the transmission type and condition before discussing shift behaviour and a calibration matched to your vehicle.
Service availability and price confirmed for your exact vehicle or unit.

Choose the right service
Discuss shift points and response on supported TCU software. The aim is appropriate behaviour for the vehicle’s use.
Review the engine calibration and torque information alongside the transmission’s supported software and hardware limits.
Slip, harsh engagement, overheating or fault codes require diagnosis. TCU tuning is not a repair for worn clutches or mechatronic faults.
A clear process
Send the registration or VIN, engine, gearbox, existing modifications and your goal. ECU type and software version determine which methods are available.
We agree the diagnostic checks needed before calibration. Existing starting, boost, fuelling, temperature or transmission faults must be resolved first.
We confirm the supported read/write method, backup or recovery route, scope and price. The intended fuel and any supporting hardware are part of the specification.
On supported units we write and verify the software, then agree the appropriate vehicle checks. You receive a record of the work and any remaining checks or limitations.
Registration or VIN, gearbox identification, TCU hardware/software numbers if available, service history, fault codes and engine modifications. DSG/S tronic, ZF, Mercedes or Ford names alone do not establish support.
Adaptations and learning procedures are performed or specified only where required for the exact transmission. We record what was changed and which on-vehicle checks remain necessary.
Some supported ECU work can be completed by post. Reading or writing the ECU on the bench does not test the engine, drivetrain or road behaviour. We agree the vehicle checks and any follow-up work before accepting the unit.
No. A remap is not a repair for low fuel pressure, boost leaks, worn components or faulty emissions systems. Diagnostic work comes first if the vehicle has symptoms.
Where a suitable original file or supported recovery route is available, restoration may be possible. We confirm this before work. Dealer software updates can overwrite a calibration; contact us before further programming.
Tell your insurer about the planned modification and confirm cover before proceeding. Manufacturer or third-party warranty cover may be affected. Our written job scope explains the cover for our own work; this is not a warranty on the whole engine or gearbox.
No. Software cannot increase the physical capacity of clutches, gears or cooling. Hardware condition and manufacturer limits remain relevant.
Send clear label photos, the vehicle details and a short description of the problem. We confirm the appropriate service, price and next steps.
