Common symptoms & diagnostic trouble codes
The codes below are documented examples. A fault code is a starting point for diagnosis, not proof that a control unit has failed. Code meanings vary by manufacturer and model. This is a factory immobiliser code, not a fault of an additional CAN immobiliser.

How we test
We agree the scope of diagnosis before starting. We explain what was checked, the findings and any limits of the assessment. A fault may not always be reproduced or identified within the initial assessment; any further work and its cost are agreed before proceeding.
