Warranty terms
Every repair carried out by T-Tronic Lab is covered by a warranty on the work we performed.
Warranty period
12 months on the repaired circuit, from the date the unit is dispatched back to you.
What is covered
- Recurrence of the same fault we repaired
- Failure of components we replaced
- Tracked return delivery within the UK after an accepted warranty repair
What is not covered
- Faults not listed in the repair order or test report
- Damage from water, impact, incorrect wiring, jump-starting or welding
- Units opened or modified by a third party after our repair
- Faults caused by other parts of the vehicle (wiring, sensors, power supply)
- Coding or programming not ordered from us
Jaguar / Land Rover 48V DC/DC converters
Repaired and reconditioned exchange DC/DC converters come with a 12-month limited warranty covering the work performed and the components specified in your service documentation, from the date the unit is dispatched to you.
- Before a repaired or exchange converter is fitted, the vehicle's 12V battery and charging system must be checked.
- Where our technical assessment requires it, a new, correctly rated and compatible 12V battery must be fitted. We tell you this before you approve the service.
- Please keep the battery invoice, fitting date and any test evidence – it helps us investigate a future fault quickly.
- Not replacing the battery, or not having a receipt, does not cancel your statutory rights and is not on its own a reason to reject a claim for an unrelated fault.
- Claims involving a suspected battery, supply, wiring, installation or external-damage cause are technically assessed before a decision is made.
- The warranty covers the stated repair or the supplied exchange unit – not the vehicle, the 48V battery or other modules.
How to claim
Contact us through the contact page with your order number and a description of the fault. Do not send the unit back before we confirm the claim.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
