VW Group 48V Mild-Hybrid Battery Testing & Repair Enquiry

Ask T-Tronic Automotive about an assessment of a 48V mild-hybrid battery from a Volkswagen Group vehicle. We check the battery part number, vehicle details and fault information before confirming whether we can accept the job.

Is this the right service?

This enquiry is for the 48V battery and its battery-management electronics. It is separate from the 12V auxiliary battery, the 48V starter-generator and the electric turbo compressor. The supported parts and tests depend on the exact unit; not every battery or fault can necessarily be tested or repaired.

Information to send us

  • Vehicle make, model, year and registration or VIN.
  • Full battery part number and clear photographs of its identification label.
  • Fault codes, symptoms and any previous diagnostic report.
  • Any visible damage, heat, swelling or liquid leakage. Do not open or dismantle the battery.

Testing, repair and pricing

We will review the details and confirm whether assessment is possible, the proposed scope, cost and next steps. A repair or replacement is subject to the fault and a separate quotation. This is an enquiry; no fixed price or availability has yet been confirmed.

Battery delivery and safety

Do not send or bring a battery until we have agreed the arrangements. Collection, transport and return are priced separately and depend on the battery chemistry, condition, weight and an accepting carrier. Damaged, leaking, swollen or hot batteries require specialist arrangements; do not dispatch them without instructions.
